Meet Our Veterinarians

Dr. Dan Kelly, Lebanon, New Hampshire

Daniel Kelly, D.V.M.

Dr. Daniel Kelly graduated from Michigan State University in 1989. After a short stint in Colebrook, New Hampshire, he and his wife opened Stonecliff Animal Clinic in Bradford, Vermont. Big or small he has taken care of them all. Dan has spent many years and hours of continuing education to follow his interests in orthopedics. In the spring of 1999 he received his license to perform a very unique procedure calledTibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO). For many years Dr. Kelly was the only surgeon in Vermont to perform this procedure. In the summer of 2000 Dan attended Ohio State University and was trained to perform total hip replacement surgery.

With a keen love of surgery, and a special interest in canine sports medicine, Dan spends many hours repairing broken bones and ligaments. Away from the clinic he is kept busy with his four very active children, a major farm renovation, and lots of horses, ducks, turkeys, dogs and cats.

Jennifer Noll, D.V.M.

Dr. Jennifer Noll was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her parents moved to Etna, NH shortly before she turned two, and she continued to live in Etna/Hanover Center through graduation from Hanover High School. She went on to attend Yale University where she majored in History, and then moved to Washington DC to live with friends and try to decide what to do with her life. She took a bunch of science classes in anticipation of applying to medical schools, but then decided to put her life-long love for animals to good use and applied to veterinary schools instead. She graduated from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and completed a one year small animal internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in 2005.

Dr. Noll then accepted a position as an emergency veterinarian for Intown Veterinary Group and subsequently worked at Essex County Veterinary Referral Hospital in North Andover, MA and Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. Having lived in the Upper Valley for the past 4 years, Dr. Noll is thrilled to have the opportunity to practice emergency medicine closer to home. She continues to reside in Grantham, NH with her husband Andrew, two rescued pit bulls and lots of plants.

 Miriam Horowitz, DVM.

Dr. Miriam Horowitz was born in Vermont. She lived in Hanover New Hampshire until she was five years old, when her family moved to San Antonio, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts degree in Comparative Endocrinology from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduation from veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, Miriam completed an internship in large animal medicine and surgery at Texas A&M and a residency in large animal internal medicine at the University of California, Davis. After that she took time off to fulfill a lifelong dream to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. Deciding it was time to move back to the east coast, she worked for four years in a small animal general and emergency practice in Rhode Island. She relocated to the Upper Valley in 2008. She lives in Lebanon, New Hampshire with her husband, daughter, dog and three cats and spends most of her free time gardening.

Kristin Maclauchlan, DVM.

Dr. Kristin Maclauchlan received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2007.  Immediately post-graduation she joined a busy, state of the art emergency clinic in upstate NY and stayed until the fall of 2011.  That fall, her husband’s job moved her to NH, and she started at SAVES in December.  She is passionate about emergency medicine and thrives under pressure.  She and her husband have rescued two golden retrievers and a cat who thinks he’s a dog.  They love travel, outdoor activities, Zumba (well, she does), and being involved in the community.

Sarah Murawski, DVM

Dr. Sarah Murawski graduated from Texas A&M University, School of Veterinary Medicine, Cum Laude in 2001. Since graduation Dr. Murawski has worked in both general and emergency practices.  Dr. Murawski enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering.
