Kerri Wells was born and raised in a small town in Alaska before moving to California as a teenager. She did her undergraduate work in Arizona, graduating from the University of Arizona in 2005. Vet school brought her to Canada first, followed by a transfer to North Carolina State University, where she graduated in 2009. Since then, she’s slowly worked her way up the East Coast living in Delaware, Philly, New Jersey and NYC before finding her dream home in Vermont. Since graduation she’s worked mostly ER, but has spent time in general practice and shelter medicine as well.  When not working she can be found cuddled up with one of her pets reading a good book, or outside gardening and obsessing over her chickens and donkeys.
