Nell Partridge
Dr. Nell Partridge is a dedicated emergency veterinarian with a passion for problem-solving and a deep commitment to patient care. She began her academic journey at the University of North Carolina (Go Tar Heels!) before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. After five years in general practice, she transitioned to emergency medicine in 2021, drawn by the dynamic nature of the field and the intellectual challenge each case presents.
Currently practicing at SAVES, Dr. Partridge thrives in a collaborative environment surrounded by talented veterinarians and a devoted support staff. One of her most memorable cases involved a young dog presenting with lethargy and pallor. After extensive diagnostics and a lack of response to standard treatments, she diagnosed the dog with rodenticide toxicity. Thanks to her quick thinking and advanced care, including plasma and blood transfusions, the dog made a full recovery.
Dr. Partridge has a special interest in emergency procedures and recently became RECOVER CPR certified, further enhancing her ability to provide life-saving care. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys decompressing with walks in the woods with her yellow lab, bike rides, and learning to garden. Her home life is full and joyful, shared with her husband, two young children, a friendly cat, and of course, her beloved dog.
Living in the Upper Valley offers the perfect balance for Dr. Partridge - the peace of the countryside with the charm and vibrancy of nearby towns.
